The patio cover's snow load is considerable, which is the amount of snow a roof can hold per square foot. We engineer the snow load of various patio cover kits by calculating the number of posts and the density of aluminum used. Our patio covers usually range between 10 lbs. and 50 lbs. We help estimate the snow load for your covered patio kit.

Our aluminum patio cover kits also has a systematic gutter system connected to the fascia. It is built with scupper drains, which allow for efficient water drainage. Additionally, you can attach downspouts if required by purchasing them from any hardware store.

We engineer the pitch of the patio roof cover by measuring ½" to 1" of slope per square foot of the cover's depth. This means a patio cover with a greater snow load needs more pitch and vice versa. For instance, a 12' deeper patio cover with a snow load of 10 lbs. needs a pitch of 6".

Our patio kit covers also have insulated roof panels, which are necessary for protecting your patio from the heat of the summer. We construct them with an approximately 3" thick foam core coated with aluminum on both sides.

We offer a hassle-free return policy for all orders. You can return any item within the first 30 days from the original purchase date if there is any issue, provided it is in its original packaging and condition.

To initiate a return, please email info@diyinc.us to obtain approval before shipment. Please note that all return shipping costs are the sender's responsibility, and DIY INC must sign for delivery upon receipt of the return.

LIMITED LIFETIME MATERIAL AND LABOR WARRANTY

DIY INC. (referred to as "FSBP") provides a warranty for lattice, patio cover, carport, and awning components (referred to as "Products") manufactured by FSBP. We guarantee that these products will not peel, blister, flake, chip, split, rust, or crack for the original retail purchaser's life, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please note that steel products are not covered against rust, and the term "crack" in this Warranty does not include negligible fracturing issues that may occur during the proper fabrication of the patio cover kits.

Laminated Roof Panels are guaranteed to be free from defects, will not delaminate under normal conditions, and will be used for fifteen (15) years from the date of purchase. However, this is subject to the limitations and conditions outlined herein.

The limited lifetime warranty (the "Warranty") begins on the date of completed construction of the patio covers on the original purchaser's property. The Warranty will remain valid until the owner(s) of the property continue to live in it or own it (original property owners). In case there is more than one property owner, these conditions apply until one of the property owners lives or owns it.

The Warranty provided herein is transferable by the Original Property Owner(s) to the subsequent owner(s) of the products within the initial ten (10) years of Warranty coverage. Upon transfer, the warranty period will be ten (10) years from the original installation date of the Products and will exclusively cover manufacturing defects in the patio cover kits.

NOTICE AND INSPECTION

If you suspect or identify manufacturing defects in your FSBP product, please inform FSBP in writing about the claimed defect(s) within 30 days of discovering them. Your written notification should include a detailed description of the defect(s) to the best of your ability, the precise address where the patio cover kits are installed, the work order number, the date, and the contact information of the contractor who installed the Products. To ensure that FSBP has a reasonable opportunity to inspect the Products and confirm the defect(s), please refrain from initiating any repairs before our inspection. Any repairs or attempted repairs made before FSBP's inspection may invalidate the terms of this Warranty.
